Gossip + Lower Automation releases

That’s right, there’s more Lower Automation comin’ your way! They recently finished their new EP ‘Welcome To My Deathbed’ which houses tracks of the bands’ most experimental and whacko material to date. Releases on limited cassettes May 20th, 2024 on ZBR!!!

Gossip’s ‘Coals of Juniper’ releases on 10” April 29th, 2024 - that’s just a few days before their ZBR Fest 2024 performance! You can also catch them at New Friends Fest (where you’ll also find both Daves) in August. Jam the first single “Casting Crowns” below!!!

Basque releases this Friday so it’s time for the full spread for ‘Pain Without Hope of Healing’. These puppies release on Tomb Tree March 22nd, 2024 at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST on their bandcamp and our Tomb Tree section in this store. All of the Tomb Tree releases are also in the US store, you just gotta search for’em. This is a very low run, just 17 ‘The Color of Pain’ swirl, 10 ‘Flower Garden’, and 5 test dips w/matching swirl case. Jam a single below!

If you missed the Widowdusk bandcamp release you need to get on that. The more I listen, the deeper I fall for it.

2023 - 06 - 09 /// .gif from god and Nuvolascura tapes next week!

Our pals in .gif from god asked if we could make more tapes for 'their ‘Digital Red’ tour as their Prosthetic Records versions sold out. Obviously we said yes and got the okay from Prosthetic, so on June 14th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST we’ll release the tapes alongside the streaming-only digitals on our bandcamp. Check out the variants above and please go see the band on tour if able to.

More pals, more tours, more tapes. Nuvolascura is currently running around Europe with Barabbas, Du Fortappade with these new cassettes. Grab’em on June 14th from us or from the band on tour!

First off, THE VAULT OPENS TOMORROW!!! Then just over a week until the Faffle concludes and the raffle draw goes down! All of CanaDave’s extra mage, handmade, stupid fancy, and test press 12”s will be raffled off for the last time on June 15th at 6pm PST / 8pm CST / 9pm EST live on Instagram! Every other day or so we’ll update with pics of stuff that will be in the Faffle…like the pictured Lower Automation nebula 12”! There’s more comin’, but snag some tickets below if you’re already starting to salivate. Each ticket gets you one step closer to winning an item on the Faffle wheel, and if you win your remaining tickets are taken out. We’ll start with the crowdpleasing mages, followed by hand-mades, stupid fancies, and then the last couple test presses (one of which hasn’t been released yet!). Winners have to pay shipping.

CanaDave is workin’ his ass off getting The Vault ready for it’s June 10th opening (it closes June 15th at 6pm PST, same as the Faffle deadline). Like last time, it will house a bunch of personal copies of tapes, vinyl, t-shirts, cds, stickers, and posters that have either been sold out for a long time or were never posted for sale. These products will appear in a “The Vault" tab which will become visible one June 10th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST at the top navigation column of this website (up there with ZBR News, Canada/International Store, U.S.A. Store, etc. Remember this happens tomorrow!!!

CanaDave also received a hefty box of distro from Dingleberry Records of new records and sold out stuff, so that’ll all update in the New Items/Distro section of this store on Sunday…but some stuff is already up now! Click on this text to check them out!

Gossip traveled a long way to play the pre-show, and holy moly am I glad they did cuz they were incredible. Super supportive people to boot. We will continue posting the single videos for each band that played ZBR Fest 2023 in the order that they played, so there’s more coming!

Apostles Of Eris and Gossip’s split 12” ‘Drone and Cull’ was released a few days ago and we’re already about 75% sold out. There are only 111 so we don’t expect them to sit around too long. Check it out below.

We got the email today! Loftus is done!!! We’ll have it in hand early/mid-May and shipping late May (inserts/shipping to Canada/etc.) with an official release/order going down at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST on May 13th. We’ll have another very special surprise that day that we have yet to reveal, so you should probably budget for an additional cassette ;) Until then, if you have a golden ticket (these came in the 10 golden discography tapes, loooooong sold out) please email or message us before the end of the day on May 10th to lock in your purchase of the ‘Hugs and Drugs’ 12” mage.

The Mathcore Index podcast aka Matchcast gave some props to our Australian besties Blind Girls. Check it out and nab a 12” before I run out of these oranges!

On Sunday April 24th we’ll have a freakin’ massive distro update at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST with a ton of stuff from Moment Of Collapse Records, Dingleberry Records and some random stuff. Seriously, there’s a ton of amazing shit here that you don’t need to worry about insane Euro shipping. This pic is just a taste.

Not only was the Pig Donovan music video premiered yesterday on Brooklyn Vegan (linked here) but Apostles Of Eris’ split partner on the 12” Gossip just had a song premiere on the Canadian radio! Nuts, I tell you. Get detonated here:
