Mercy Necromancy’s ‘Fallen’ and ‘Cruel’ EPs are now housed on one vinyl 12”! Softseed Music made 111 of these so please go check it out and snag one if you like Dollanganger, Grimes, Del Rey, Cain, etc. Minimal instrumentals under the voice of an angel.

Well shit ZBR Fest is getting pretty goddamned close. So let’s go through the bands playing, shall we? We’ll call this the ZBR Fest 2026 Profile Feature. Yeah, that only took like 10 minutes to think up, lol.

For years Massa Nera was the ZBR Fest mainstay, but after they had to pull out of 2024’s fest it’s been The Caution Children who have taken up the mantle. Bringing everyone together in the best possible way, these Florida all-stars were phenomenal in both 2024 (linked here) and 2025 (embedded above), so it was a no-brainer giving these dudes the ZBR Fest title and inviting them back for a third year in a row.

We are super excited to announce the release of Carrion Spring’s new album ‘Those We Have Lost And Continue To Lose’ which will drop on March 6th, 2026! The 12” vinyl /250 are on the way to us and should be in hand a week before the release so we’ll have some nice pics for ya as soon as possible. Jam a new jam below. More info soon!!!

ZBR is releasing the next Dagerman 12”LP ‘Di fronte a noi il nulla’ on March 20th. The first single “Caino” is available to stream/download above. Wicked Italian screamo, baby! We have some 12”s from their debut LP below if you wanna scope. For fans of La Quiete, Raein, Ojne, etc.

Soastaphrenas’ second single is upon us. This band is ex-Spoiled and kicks serious ass whilst also charting new territory. Exciting stuff! Full release is likely early April and Tomb Tree will have 30 copies.

ZBR Fest lineup announced and tickets are live! The cap on this year’s fest in Vancouver is less than 200 so we’re looking at a pretty intimate time. Tickets are going fast, get’em at zbrfest.com

Our next big ZBR-only release is the next Carrion Spring full length 12” titled ‘those we’ve lost and continue to lose’ and it releases in full on March 6th, 2026 via 250 records. We won’t spoil the variant but it looks pretty fucking sick. You can scope the music video for “Pocket Full of Poseurs” from the album below!

Vi Som Alskade Varandra Sa Mycket’s debut 12”LP is finally back in press thanks to Moment Of Collapse and yours truly (but mostly Moment Of Collapse) as we only have 30 copies spread across our three stores. Phenomenal post-everything screamo from Sweden featuring a member of The Khayembii Communique.

CanaDave had a podcast with Mercy Necromancy right before a special surprise which happens on Monday. If you like ethereal, dreamy, dark-yet-beautiful singer/songwriter stuff you will fall in love with this artist (like I did!) and therefore you should buy a 12” copy of ‘Fallen’ before they’re all gone. 2025 - 12 - 15 /// ZBR applies some break action

Hey y’all, some sad news first. With the North American economy neck-chop and subsequent monetary turmoil, our sales slowdown will result in less releases over the next few months. We used to do a release every two weeks and alternate between ZBR and Tomb Tree, thus ensuring new music every week. For the next bit I think it’ll be more like one ZBR and one Tomb Tree release a month, so we’ll likely only have one to three releases each month unless sales pick back up again. For the first five years of ZBR I had to pump personal pay into the label to fund it, but since Cullen joined in 2018 it’s become self-sufficient, allowing us to keep releases coming out almost weekly. With everyone hurting and sales plummeting, I can’t pump personal money back into this as my family is also struggling to make ends meet in this hellhole of timeline. So it is what it is.

If sales stay the course, I’ll probably have to open CanaDave’s SkramzCave once more with new items to fund the stuff we’ve already committed to, but that will be the last one. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that but I’ll keep y’all informed. Speaking of, please join our email list so you can keep up to date in 2026 when we start getting off social media (facebook is first, fuck that place).

Our duplication company we use is usually pretty decent, but their handling of our Sans Visage tapes was a bit lacking in proper communication, so we had to push back the release of ‘drowned/resistance’ until Wednesday December 17th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST. You can check out “resent” which premiered on Operation X-Ray this past Friday.

Oh damn we got the new Vibora album last week and it is fucking amazing. That’s the cover above for the upcoming ‘Egin Ez Dugun Guztia’ 12”LP, which releases February 20th, 2026 and houses 10 brand new jams. We still got a few of their previous ‘Zaldi Beltza’ 12”LP left (first run all sold out save one!, a couple of second runs also in stock) so pick that up and prep for a new jam very soon!

Magana released her ‘Bad News’ Ep earlier this year, so to wrap up 2025 Softseed will be releasing it alongside her debut EP ‘Golden Tongue’, so be on the lookout for that soon! Until then please enjoy ‘Teeth’ which Softseed recently released on 12” lathe. Gorgeous stuff.

It’s of the ‘random color’ variety, but as it’s in my hand I can see it’s a half white/half black copy that matches the art beautifully. 2025 - 11 - 01 /// Nuvolascura triple packs, Fainting Dreams released, Inosuke on Monday!

First and most importantly, shipping updates. Okay so the US store has sent out every Usurp order to my knowledge, while the Canada store has only done cds as the box containing our Usurp 2x12”s arrives in a week or so. The Canada store has sent off all of the other older release shipments like Shesmadefromsuede, Coup D’etat cds, etc., while the US store’s box with those arrives next week at which point they’ll be shipped out. All of the Nuvolscura orders should be shipped by mid-November. Bandcamp orders in the US are the last orders to go out and we haven’t forgotten about you, thank you for your patience.

The new Fainting Dreams album ‘You Can Be Anything’ premiered on Idioteq.com on the 30th of October, with the full release coming yesterday. There are 40 tapes over three variants, a swirl, a blue, and some test dips. The six songs are gorgeous, expansive, layered, all-encompassing pieces not unlike Ethel Cain and Lingua Ignota. 2025 - 10 - 28 /// Coup D’état out + Nuvo cds tomorrow + Inosuke premiere!

Coup D’état released their sophomore album (a four-song EP, to be exact) yesterday via 100 cds in four-panel digipaks. The bandcamp orders and Canada/International store orders have already gone out, with the US store copies going out early November (cuz I have to ship them to the US store today). This shows the band getting simultaneously poppier and heavier (depending on the song), with a more varied musical palette and increased cohesiveness. So good!

Right before Nuvolascura goes on tour in Asia, we made another 100 cds of each of their full lengths! That’s right! 100 ‘Nuvolascura’ cds in a four-panel digipak, 100 ‘As We Suffer From Memory and Imagination’ in a four-panel digipak, and 100 ‘How This All Ends’ in a jewel case (1st run was in a dvd case, so these are different). These all go on sale tomorrow at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST.

The first single from the next Inosuke album was premiered by Not Just A Phase yesterday. ‘Allomancer’ releases November 3rd on 12”LP and features Jason from Locktender and Erik from Stormlight! Coup D’état’s release show for their self-titled cd happened this past Friday in Victoria with support from A Recorded Dawn and Mourn Recif. Respire is a six-piece band from Toronto, Canada, who combine epic post-hardcore, screamo, and black metal into a very cohesive formula that drips of maturity and patience. Gravity and Grace is their debut LP - a sprawling memoir of genre-defying soundscapes, reverb-washed tremolo harmonies, cascading arpeggios, dreamlike textures and walls of distorted guitars roaring over frantic rhythms, punctuated by tormented vocals and a near-orchestral array of instruments and contributors. Themes of loss, addiction, heartbreak, and existential anguish paint a bleak picture, but somewhere over the horizon rests a glimmering sense of hope, resolve and forgiveness.

This is a co-release between Zegema Beach Records (Canada), Ozona Records (USA), Dingleberry Records (Germany) and Narshardaa Records (Germany).
