Zampler #24 released, Keratin tomorrow!

Zampler #24 came out on the last day of 2024 and includes a whopping 8 previously unreleased tracks! I know we initially said 9 but one didn’t get finished in time so that might pop up next Zampler. Keratin 7”s ‘Death and Rebirth’ releases at a slightly different time than usual as it’s coming from Australia, make sure you’re ready at 2pm PST / 4pm CST / 5pm EST on January 3rd for the drop. The GreenBlueGrey and Black Nails/Sharp Teeth split #2 aka the ‘gbg.bn/st.2’ cassette has officially released. If your brain needs scrambling this is definitely the release for you, with 9 new tracks by each project, all falling somewhere between the destructiveness of thecheeseburgerpicnic and the weirdness of The Locust. Just 48 tapes were made and the “pearlple” swirl comes in custom wooden boxes from Josh at Vamonos Tapes, we just don’t have any proper promo pics yet. These ship out mid-late January as we need to get the pieces together.

Tristan Tzara’s ‘discography’ releases in full tomorrow, January 31st at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST!!! 25 mages, 50 taco, 100 black, 125 random color, and 200 metallic red split between our two stores (bandcamp will only have the latter three variants) and Dog Knights (so if you’re in Europe please order from them!). Volp premiered a new jam on the (((((OPENmind/SATURATEDbrain))))) blog a few days back and if you’re a fan of Telos, Horsewhip, The Minor Times, Engineer, or Ken Mode then chances are you will absolutely love this French band from Paris! Long.Way.Down. was released via a Mathcore Index premiere and the tapes are like 80% sold out already…and we only released to bandcamp about 8 hours ago. We’re planning on getting this to vinyl in the future so if tapes are your game you better jump on these last few copies quick. Venns 7”s continue to move, and the two-piece did a sick livestream in which they talked about 10 years of the band as their first release came a decade ago. Lots of info about their other bands, navigating the industry, and their ties to Zegema Beach. Watch it above and jam that awesomesauce below!

Blind Girls are coming to ruin the U.S. and Zegema Beach Records Fest 2023. They just released their poster w/dates and support and to be honest it’s beyond ridiculous.

CanaDave finally got his shit together and did another Out Past the Rings. This was served as double duty for Drei Affen’s latest 12”EP (listen here) as well as the second Tomb Tree Family Tree video for Grip’s ‘Early Iteration’ cassette (listen here). Want a 12” or tape? Too bad, all gone.

Two current screamo heavyweights with 15 years worth of playing between them have teamed up for a new split 7” with two new songs from each band. Chicago’s Crowning have been a ZBR staple since their debut EP in 2017 carrying the mathy/sludgy/heavy torch, while Baltimore’s Eyelet are approaching a decade as a band and released one of the best records in a very long time with their ‘The Devil Shining Out Your Eyes’ (being played in full at this year’s ZBR Fest…along with an Eyelet/Crowning battle set!!!). Crowning’s two songs can be listened to alongside the Naedr split songs as they were all written under the same theme, while Eyelet’s jams are standalone bangers. Co-released on The Ghost Is Clear Records.
