2024 - 04 - 28 /// Gossip releases tomorrow then this news page goes dark for 2 weeks

First thing’s first, this is the last post here for nearly two weeks. If you need to stay up to date follow our Instagram page (@zegema_beach) for the updates as I won’t have access to my computer here in Canada. Therefore all of the drops on bandcamp and this store will be set on a timer (except Gossip, I’m here for that) so I apologize in advance if it gets screwy but I’ll do my best to have them all release at the proper times. As always 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST for all ZBR and Tomb Tree releases unless otherwise stated.

Gossip’s long awaited debut EP ‘Coals of Juniper’ releases tomorrow both digitally and on 10” /250. The 1st run had a defect and was remade so these land in time for ZBR Fest but not in time for tomorrow’s drop so we have no promo pics to show. I can, however, tell you that 125 are on black/white 3-color stripe with purple splatter and the other 125 are on a color-in-color bone/purple. Should look really sick, but I expect the splatter version to be the one to gun for first if you want’em lookin’ extra slick. They’re playing this year’s fest and fuckin’ ruled the pre-show last year. For fans of Mahria, Old Soul, Nuvolascura, Blind Girls, Crowning, etc.

Usurp Synapse is here and ready to fuck you up. Here are some promo pics for the regular versions of the ‘AssIIAss’ edition tape, as there will be an early-bird version available May 2nd via the Brooklyn Vegan premiere of the full EP. You can also jam a brand new song below in the Operation X-Ray show! Full release May 3rd.

Colacon 12”LP pre-orders go down on April 30th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST for ‘Throes of Indignation’ on Tomb Tree. Only 100 copies available and the band will have some special goodies available along with Vamanos Tapes at the ZBR Fest pre-show alongside Usurp Synapse on Friday May 3rd! Tickets here!!!

Okay, last post, last time travel for a bit, this one just a year back to 2023 when we saw the fest go from “woah” to “holy shit” in terms of both bands and attendance. CanaDave “learned” how to play guitar and started Mourn Recif on Vancouver Island with some friends. They played their first show last night. Here’s the longer, slower jam. More shows coming in late May.

2024 - 03 - 18 /// Widowdusk released!

One of the essential California screamo revival bands is Widowdusk. They have been releasing stellar EPs and splits for a few years, and really owning the live scene over there, and with this debut full length they prove why there has been so much damn hype out west. Let the 10 tracks of emotionally jarring screamo wash over you now, scramble for a cassette around ZBR Fest, and/or snag that 12” vinyl come mid-late summer.

Vancouver Island’s Hillsboro just released a new music video for “Novalynn”. CanaDave is buds with this band and is playing a few shows with them in May via his new band Mourn Recif. This material is kinda Strokes/emo-esque with the newer/unreleased material getting heavier. 12”s still in stock!!!

Operation X-Ray premieres from Basque and Burial Etiquette as well jams from Crossed and Pettersson.

Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: SACROFUOCO = The new trajectory and band name for those formerly known as One Dying Wish. Excellent stuff!!! We will be getting a few copies from Icorrupt…today!

2024 - 01 - 30 /// Edhochuli music video and Tristan Tzara tomorrow!

Tristan Tzara’s ‘discography’ releases in full tomorrow, January 31st at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST!!! 25 mages, 50 taco, 100 black, 125 random color, and 200 metallic red split between our two stores (bandcamp will only have the latter three variants) and Dog Knights (so if you’re in Europe please order from them!). Emo-violence lore comin’ atchya!

We recently moved a ton of stock including all Blind Girls but a few final random color 12” copies (available ONLY in the U.S. store) out, as well as just three Massa Nera test dips (one in the Canada store / two on bandcamp) then that massive release is totally sold out, and lastly Trophy Hunt’s cassette is down to our last few copies (three in the U.S. store / one on bandcamp)

Demersal released their first single from their upcoming ‘Noir’ 12”LP that Tomb Tree is helping out with. Jam it below!
