Canada Post on strike + good news

Canada Post is on strike. This means Canada store (aka this store) and most of the Bandcamp orders literally cannot ship out until it is resolved. The good news here is if you place multiple orders over the strike’s duration I can combine your orders and refund you some shipping after the gears get movin’ again. This is totally out of our hands, so please have some patience. U.S.A. store orders will continue to go out and they ship internationally too!!! Click on this text to go to the US store.

Fingerswoventogether released on Friday and we’ve blown through most of the tapes already. This store has a handful and the US store has a couple, but Bandcamp copies are sold out. Links to both stores are at the bottom of the Bandcamp page and cost less than those sold out copies anyways. Such a wicked debut EP!!!

Gxllium! is next! The first run of tapes flew so we made a bunch more - 150 to be exact. CanaDave is dipping those suckas now, and this run is professionally duped with proper j-cards, as the first run was all DIY, baby. EP of the year? Definitely up there!!! California's GXLLIUM! are back with an exceptionally fresh set of songs featuring a brand new lineup, and these six songs will absolutely floor you. Part chaotic hardcore, part metallic hardcore, part screamo/emo-violence, and a dash of the mosh, the breakdowns, panic chords, and unrelenting screaming will leave you aghast in the best possible way. We got these masters just a few days back so the first tape run is on 37 DIY cassettes that will sell out first day (most likely), so after that we'll use the money to order 100 professionally duplicated copies in late November/early December. EP of the year? You betcha!

What the fuck is uuuuuuuuuup? Hope you’re doing good. Here’s the schedule for November and December:
November 28th = GXLLIUM! 'Breakup songs' cassette REPRESS: 150 cassettes right in time for their U.S. tour in December. For fans of: Me And Him Call It Us, Rex Kwon Do, and The Great Redneck Hope.

December 6th = FEBUARY 'February' cdLP REPRESS: Oh wait...they're back together?!?! Rejoice!!! 1st pressing was on 100 (sold out in 15 minutes), 2nd pressing on 200 cds with gatefold digipak. For fans of: The Lazurus Plot, Clay Birds, and Montcalm.

December 23rd = DIE PRINCESS DIE 'Discography' cassette: We've been in love with this band for two decades, so getting to make this discography cassette with new art of our favourite sassy, drunken, danceable post-punk/post-hardcore/emo/experimental/rock band feels like a blessing. Pressing on 50 cassettes with expanded j-card. For fans of: At The Drive In, Indian Summer, Four Hundred Years, and Slint.

Jan 1st-3rd (tentative) = KERATIN 'Death & Rebirth' 7"EP: The Australian band's sophomore effort and it's fantastic. Pressing on 150 black vinyl. For fans of: Suis La Lune, and Gil Cerrone.

TOMB TREE:
November 15th = FINGERSWOVENTOGETHER 'Three song demo' format EP: First demo that sounds more like a sophomore EP to me, wildly mature and writhing screamo that the kids are currently eating up. Pressing on 60 cassettes. For fans of: Onewaymirror, Spirit Of Versailles, and Widowdusk.

December 13th = COUP D'ÉTAT 'What Happens After the Epilogue...' cassetteLP: This Victoria BC-based Canadian band is going to make some waves with their debut full length. For fans of: Fall Of Troy, Circle Takes The Square, and Envy. Pressing on 60 cassettes.

December 27th = GREENBLUEGREY + BLACK NAILS / SHARP TEETH 'Split' cassette: The second split from these projects has them dropping in with a whopping 9 tracks each...totaling just over 20 minutes, so you know these absolutely blast through with extreme violence. Pressing on 40 cassettes. For fans of: Fallingwithscissors and thecheeseburgerpicnic.

Tomb Tree made 60 tapes for the Fingerswoventogether ‘3 song demo’ and it’s fantastic, but for a demo it reigns supreme! This sucker releases tomorrow, November 15th @9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST on swirl, random opaqaue, and bright blue.

Gxllium! released ‘Breakup songs’ on Tuesday and all of our tapes sold out in less than an hour. I’ve included pics so you can see them, but they’re out until all copies arrive at their homes, then I have three extra copies that I’ll put when I know it’s safe to. We’ll also be making more, at the very least tapes, and perhaps doing more formats. Spotify isn’t up yet but I’ll post it when I can.

Just a reminder that we made those Nuvolascura cds and there’s only a handful left and will be sold out before Halloween. The US store has a single copy of the ST and bandcamp has two, the new LP is sold out. Linked above (in stock) and below (sold out).

We’ve made cds of the two Nuvolascura full lengths (100 of each) alongside the band, but we’ve only got 25 of each! These release on Monday in both stores and our bandcamp, then it’s prep time before we absolutely pummel you with amazingness in November with new Senza, new Concealer, and new Gxllium!

This store got another distro update, this time with a lot of rando stuff and updates on long sold out releases. Definitely check our bandcamp for final copies shed by CanaDave including Iwroteyourhaikusaboutcannibalisminyouryearbook, Rainmaking, Blind Girls, In Loving Memory, and Komuso/Setsuko.
