Gxllium! released ‘Breakup songs’ on Tuesday and all of our tapes sold out in less than an hour. I’ve included pics so you can see them, but they’re out until all copies arrive at their homes, then I have three extra copies that I’ll put when I know it’s safe to. We’ll also be making more, at the very least tapes, and perhaps doing more formats. Spotify isn’t up yet but I’ll post it when I can.

Just a reminder that we made those Nuvolascura cds and there’s only a handful left and will be sold out before Halloween. The US store has a single copy of the ST and bandcamp has two, the new LP is sold out. Linked above (in stock) and below (sold out).

CanaDave spent too many hours scouring for screamo music videos and has now curated this killer playlist of nearly 200 official screamo/skramz music videos! Neil Perry, Respire, Frail Body, Crowning, Via Fondo, Young Mountain, State Faults, Envy, La Quiete, etc.!!! Honestly it’s a ridiculous collection. Enjoy and please leave a message for us with new screamo music videos to add!

Also of note is the Zampler contest that has just started but details will be given here tomorrow when the news post goes up. Basically if you buy something from this Canada/International store in December you are entered to win a free ZBR Fest 2023 golden ticket pass. I reckon there won’t be many orders so your odds of winning are about 10%.

The 91st episode of Mathcast was a very ZBR-heavy one as Lower Automation and Thank You Driver were discussed in detail. One thing those beautiful fellas forgot to mention is that the Blame Kadinsky music video fucking rules (linked here).

After releasing some absolutely scorching screamo/emo-violence, the Peruvian six-piece has chilled out and moved into mathy, poppy, emo/rock with a few screamo remnants. This brand new ‘EP’ houses four tracks of ever-evolving, constantly shifting, and ear-pleasing goodness that sounds a bit like a more accessible The Mars Volta with two vocalists. CanaDave did an Out Past the Rings for the sold out People’s Temple Project and Sleeper Wave split 12” that came back out in early 2019. Incredible split and definitely not the last stuff from PTP as they told me they have stuff in the pipeline!

How do I still have a copy of the last Republic Of Dreams + Autarkeia 7” split? It’s been here for like 2 years (after a Euro restock). This thing is amazing and has impeccable art. Hiding In The Outpost…do your damn job. Last copy!!!

2022 - 11 - 25 /// Keratin premiere

I just received the Infall tapes yesterday after a lengthy delay at customs (they were due here a week ago) and once I swirl the b-sides of 5 of them these will be ready to go aka I’ll ship the US store it’s copies and all Canada/International sales on Monday.

Victor Shores is officially out, making it the predecessor to the above Keratin EP. This album is very different but equally amazing. Super catchy hard emo punk from this Minnesota three-piece. Truly infectious stuff that isn’t repetative or boring in the slightest, and those vocals are just awesome. Tapes ship early December.

Works was on the the CHRW CHIN music radio with the song “The Bend”. 12”s from Tomb Tree still available! Features members of Girl Arm and can be accessed in full by clicking on this text.

Lower Automation came out the other day and pretty much fried everyone’s brain. These twelve tracks have infinite repeat listens because literally so much is happening. Absolutely fantastic stuff and contender for best of 2022 for sure!
