Big Stuff Thing #4 is here! On the hour today (aka December 28th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST) we’re doing our bi-annual Big Stuff Thing! This fourth installment sees the final copies of Euclid C Finder!, Cara Neir, Eyelet, SeeYouSpaceCowboy 7”s, some discounted newer releases, Shove and Dog Knights stock, aaaaaaaand some unearthed gems!!!

And that’s just in this Canada/International store!

Tuff City Radio unveiled three unreleased bangers on Friday’s radio show including the aforementioned Yubari Gogo as well as Smile To The Wind’s new band The Minsk Sea (think Smile To The Wind meets Minaret…this shit is unreal) that releases Feb/Mar as well as a song by Japan’s Nhomme who have a mind-bending EP releasing mid-February on ZBR.

Massa Nera provided Idioteq.com with a very interesting, revealing, and gateway into their collective influences for the new record. A definite recommend as it’s a great way to A) see further into the band’s creative process and B) find out some sick new bands. Click on this text or the above screenshot to read all about it!

Nuvolascura was the subject of the newest Out Past the Rings and the shockwaves felt from the 2019 self-titled 12” still hit the shores of screamo on a daily basis. We’re down to our last two final copies and less than five tapes!

Works was picked on Machine Music’s “Nine Songs I Like This Week” and yet again we find works poppin’ up all over the place. This is exceptionally special because the reviewer generally jams the heavier stuff but was mesmerized by those dueling guitars! Click on this text or the picture to go there.

CanaDave spent too many hours scouring for screamo music videos and has now curated this killer playlist of nearly 200 official screamo/skramz music videos! Neil Perry, Respire, Frail Body, Crowning, Via Fondo, Young Mountain, State Faults, Envy, La Quiete, etc.!!! Honestly it’s a ridiculous collection. Enjoy and please leave a message for us with new screamo music videos to add!

Also of note is the Zampler contest that has just started but details will be given here tomorrow when the news post goes up. Basically if you buy something from this Canada/International store in December you are entered to win a free ZBR Fest 2023 golden ticket pass. I reckon there won’t be many orders so your odds of winning are about 10%.

The 91st episode of Mathcast was a very ZBR-heavy one as Lower Automation and Thank You Driver were discussed in detail. One thing those beautiful fellas forgot to mention is that the Blame Kadinsky music video fucking rules (linked here).

CanaDave did the Out Past the Rings #138 for the split cassette between Curtains and New Ruins. These just sold out so if you’re looking for a copy you’ll have to look at resellers.
