Our next release is the incredible Italian screamo debut from Dagerman on 12”LP this Monday April 7th (9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST) followed by Canadian noise rock/post-hardcore Blue Youth sophomore 12”LP on April 15th. Sinema emocore/metalcore 12”s for ‘After the Flatline’ drop and immediately sell out on April 22nd, followed by the epic first full length from the long-running BC screamo/emo-violence band Emma Goldman on April 28th.

Sutras got their second (of three) song premieres via Everything Is Noise for “Karma to Burn”. Their new six-song EP ‘The Crisis of Existence’ releases in full on April 16th!!! Part Modern Life Is War, part Touche Amore, and part Envy, this thing is powerful in a peaceful sense. Click on the pic above or this text to go to the premiere.

This epic Emma Goldman show is going down tomorrow and CanaDave will be there slingin’ records, including the one and only test press available to the public. Got $50? It’s yours. Also, Mourn Recif is playing and we’re closing with our brand new jam and it goes harder than anything we’ve ever played.

Lord Wrought’s ‘Mortis’ EP releases on Tomb Tree this Tuesday April 8th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST on a small run of 54 gorgeous cassettes. This Vancouver-based hardcore/grind/metalcore/screamo crossover blew me away live so picking up the pressing from Yetzer Hara Records who has moved into a specific straight-edge hardcore pocket after a brief hiatus.

Ashen Hands from Italy have a new EP coming out Tuesday March 12th on Tomb Tree! I’m telling you this thing is fucking amazing and gonna blow you outta the water. Akin to Joshua Fit For Battle, Lucidity, and Danse Macabre, ‘Ashen Hands’ knocked my goddamn dentures right outta my mouth…and I don’t even own dentures!!! Dead Hour Noise’s sophomore full length ‘Slow Burn’ was released digitally with pre-orders of their first 12” vinyl going live last Friday. These should be in hand early April and shipping mid-late April at the latest. Vinyl will /250, burgundy w/orange splatter. This is co-released with The Ghost Is Clear Records.

Coma Of Eris got some love on This Noise Is Ours the other day - and yesterday was Edie’s birthday! Please give her a bday wish and pick up some stuff from Middle Man Records. Martin Randal Travel just got the premiere treatment from none other than Not Just A Phase. Their split with Sulfur (their premiere was last week via This Noise Is Ours, linked here and embedded below) releases on Tomb Tree this Monday February 24th on 52 tapes. Vancouver’s Smush just released their 3rd music video from ‘if you were here i’d be home now’ and we’re down to the absolute last copies of the first pressing. This was CanaDave’s album of the year in 2024! 2 left on the Softseed bandcamp, 2 in the Canada store, and 22 in the U.S. store. Zero chance these are still around by summer so snag now or forever hold your peace.

Belted Sweater got the good’ole OMSB premiere treatment with the final single “More Rack Toms (than people in the audience)” and it’s amazing. It’s different. By golly it’s a bit strange at first, but like CanaDave you will likely become enamored with this incredible glam skramz solo project from LA. Full tape release is this Friday the 21st of February on Softseed Music (but we’ll have a few copies too) and Self Versed Records. The Coma Of Eris debut album immediately caught the eye of the almighty Stereogum who were kind enough to do a little write-up of it. Tapes have been ordered and will arrive in mid-March, after which CanaDave will decorate and they should be released late March/early April. Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: YELLFIRE = I knew nothing about this band when I played with them, but they played as a three-piece and blew us all away. After the set we were informed that they were missing a guitar player at that show and everyone’s jaws broke the fuck off. They’re like Botch x Kollapse. Amazing.

Zampler #24 came out on the last day of 2024 and includes a whopping 8 previously unreleased tracks! I know we initially said 9 but one didn’t get finished in time so that might pop up next Zampler.
