Smush is in + Crowning to Japan!

Smush has arrived! Holy moly was that outside of the plant’s guaranteed time. Inserts are printed and the records look/sound great. Softseed Music made 150 of’em and they’re already more than half gone. U.S. store gets their copies when U.S. Dave returns from his Japanese tour with Crowning/Oaktails, and should all be shipped by the end of October. I’d probably keep an eye on their bandcamp btw!

Crowning cds are in stock in both stores + bandcamp. They are literally flying to Japan right now to join Oaktails for the tour. As stated, keep an eye on those bandcamps!

Members of Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow, Mourn Recif, and Hillsboro have a new group called Wollruss. Their first show is October 19th, 2024 at Oaklands with A Recorded Dawn, Shoplifter, and I.O.

Josh and Dave released their 3rd episode last night, this one is Remingtin (West Fucking Triad) vs. Senza! Without a doubt the episode that had us both most stoked on the music.

Eyelet repress 12” on a new color (June 29th) followed by the digital 23rd Zampler compilation (July 1st) featuring new art from Seb Alvarez (Meth., Cadence Fox, Virgin Mother, etc.) and brand spankin’ new jams from Senza, Onewaymirror, Excrucis, Tenue, Tress Allude, and Hallam Foe! Holy sheeeeeeat!!!

Fallingwithscissors released on Monday and promptly sold out. There will be a few stragglers that’ll show up in the future but until we ensure all copies get to their homes these are unofficially “sold out”.

Wax Vessel is having their 5-Year Anniversary sale this Friday at 11am PST / 1pm CST / 2pm EST and they’ll have some ZBR-themed merch as near the beginning we were partnered up and sending out their orders, but with their incredible growth we just couldn’t keep up with the shipments. Our hats off to Nik and the gang as they have created something truly special. We appreciate you <3

Operation X-Ray played more Smush (get on the 12” pre-order!) and the almighty Animal Faces that seem to be getting some well-deserved extra love from some new fans.

Crossed got a whopping 9/10 (for an EP, no less) on the recent Crossed Letters (coincidence?) so you should check that out and buy yourself the 12” for ‘Vida Quieta’ because it fucking rules and the members of the band are all such sweethearts. Click on this text for the review!

An absolute feast of mathcore with this math-rock/math-metal spit ‘I don’t watch sports anymore’ from CHARGER PORT and SERLING. Both bands bring some serious heat, with the former relying on groovy and mathy instrumental rock/post-hardcore/prog while the latter lay down destructive, wonky, intense, mathy metallic hardcore/metal. The 25 black and 25 clear lathes are 45rpm stereo and sound fantastic (like a regular vinyl, basically), complete with inserts and one-of-a-kind painted jackets by Josh of Vamonos Tapes with a few alternate designs! Said alternate covers (the non-black ones) will be randomly inserted in orders, so cross those fingas! Released on Tomb Tree, King Fisher, and Soft Grit. That means there are 65 copies (minus whatever sold in Cleveland last night) pingin’ around the Eastern U.S.A.. Speaking of tours, Hexis is coming to North America again and dropping by Victoria for their 2nd show of the tour and CanaDave is putting it on!
