Smush is in + Crowning to Japan!

Smush has arrived! Holy moly was that outside of the plant’s guaranteed time. Inserts are printed and the records look/sound great. Softseed Music made 150 of’em and they’re already more than half gone. U.S. store gets their copies when U.S. Dave returns from his Japanese tour with Crowning/Oaktails, and should all be shipped by the end of October. I’d probably keep an eye on their bandcamp btw!

Crowning cds are in stock in both stores + bandcamp. They are literally flying to Japan right now to join Oaktails for the tour. As stated, keep an eye on those bandcamps!

Members of Our Future Is An Absolute Shadow, Mourn Recif, and Hillsboro have a new group called Wollruss. Their first show is October 19th, 2024 at Oaklands with A Recorded Dawn, Shoplifter, and I.O.

An absolute feast of mathcore with this math-rock/math-metal spit ‘I don’t watch sports anymore’ from CHARGER PORT and SERLING. Both bands bring some serious heat, with the former relying on groovy and mathy instrumental rock/post-hardcore/prog while the latter lay down destructive, wonky, intense, mathy metallic hardcore/metal. The 25 black and 25 clear lathes are 45rpm stereo and sound fantastic (like a regular vinyl, basically), complete with inserts and one-of-a-kind painted jackets by Josh of Vamonos Tapes with a few alternate designs! Said alternate covers (the non-black ones) will be randomly inserted in orders, so cross those fingas! Released on Tomb Tree, King Fisher, and Soft Grit. Okay so we’ve been hanging on to some backup copies in case the postal service fucked anyone, and as everything has arrived safely we can unlock those copies of very sold out stuff. On Saturday March 16th the Canada store will have their Little Big Stuff Thing, with the US version being held at the ZBR Fest 2024 Record Fair for those that miss out on the initial BST or are lucky enough to make the trek to rifle through the bins in person. This also enables people not attending the fest to actually snag something from this most recent Big Stuff Thing. Apart from the Test press raffle (info below) we’ll have Onewaymirror, Tristan Tzara handmades, Congratulations handmades, a single Senza, a few Blind Girls, Orchid 12”s, a swirled Gifts From Enola tape boxset, Euclid C Finder’s final cassette copy, a small stack of Burial Etiquette/Mis Suenos splits, a buncha screamo t-shirts, etc. This goes down on:
