Onewaymirror promo pics + Excrucis song premiere

Ooooo baby we gotz those sexy Onewaymirror 7”s in last night! These go up for sale on Sunday July 14th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST! 200 merge, 200 pink, 100 black, 5 tests and another 5 botched tests that we’ll put up at cost.

Gil Cerrone’s ‘Consumer’ released in full today so you need to check that fire out and keep it contained before it burns everything down. 12”s should arrive and ship by the end of July.

Excrucis had a song premiere on OMSB today and by golly it’s some serious fire. You can jam “Ceasefire” from the Zampler below or click on this text/the picture above to hear the brand new song “Parasite”. Both come off of the band’s July 22nd release ‘There are Collectivities that Devour Souls’ releasing on 100 tapes through ZBR.

The Beats Per Minute blog posted a massive missed list of stuff they hadn’t reviewed from the first half of 2024 and there are some ZBR and Tomb Tree things floating around in there like Terry Green and Basque. CanaDave’s homies Hillsboro are releasing their new EP in late August with 25 tapes on Softseed and another version on their own label Play Dead. New music video below, and you can tell they’re getting a lot heavier! :)

ONEWAYMIRROR was released digitally on Monday and will be in hand on Thursday. We’ll drop these suckas on Sunday July 14th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST, with promo pics coming this Friday!

2024 - 07 - 06 /// Spoiled almost sold out + Onewaymirror next

Spoiled’s ‘AV_Syndrome_0.1’ released yesterday and we’re already 75% sold out. Snag those last copies before they’re gone, as they likely won’t be repressed and if they are it won’t be for many years.

Onewaymirror is next, finished at the plant this past week and should be in hand a week or two after the digital release on July 8th. You can jam one of the five tracks on Zampler #23 embedded below, it’s titled “Fourth Song”. We did 500 copies over 3 variants plus 5 test presses with an additional 5 test presses with the wrong song order, so we’ll have some of those up for sale later July, as the records ship to us on Monday and we should be good to have them up either later this week or early the week after. Don’t worry we’ll be posting about it everywhere so just stay awake.

Gil Cerrone’s ‘Consumer’ should be in hand this month, with the full release going down July 12th on Tomb Tree. We’ve just added an extra song to the bandcamp page which you should check out immediately. Fucking slaps.

CanaDave’s Mourn Recif has a fucking banger of a show coming up in less than two weeks across on the mainland of Vancouver on July 18th with a buncha sick screamo bands that we’ve been following for years. So stoked. New videos from the Hillsboro and Bok Suna shows will be appearing on the (((((OPENmind/SATURATEDbrain))))) blog later today and will be shared next news post.

Josh and Dave released their 3rd episode last night, this one is Remingtin (West Fucking Triad) vs. Senza! Without a doubt the episode that had us both most stoked on the music.

A buncha music videos popped up, some official and some not. But hey…music videos rock.

Eyelet repress 12” on a new color (June 29th) followed by the digital 23rd Zampler compilation (July 1st) featuring new art from Seb Alvarez (Meth., Cadence Fox, Virgin Mother, etc.) and brand spankin’ new jams from Senza, Onewaymirror, Excrucis, Tenue, Tress Allude, and Hallam Foe! Holy sheeeeeeat!!!

Fallingwithscissors released on Monday and promptly sold out. There will be a few stragglers that’ll show up in the future but until we ensure all copies get to their homes these are unofficially “sold out”.

Wax Vessel is having their 5-Year Anniversary sale this Friday at 11am PST / 1pm CST / 2pm EST and they’ll have some ZBR-themed merch as near the beginning we were partnered up and sending out their orders, but with their incredible growth we just couldn’t keep up with the shipments. Our hats off to Nik and the gang as they have created something truly special. We appreciate you <3

Operation X-Ray played more Smush (get on the 12” pre-order!) and the almighty Animal Faces that seem to be getting some well-deserved extra love from some new fans.

Crossed got a whopping 9/10 (for an EP, no less) on the recent Crossed Letters (coincidence?) so you should check that out and buy yourself the 12” for ‘Vida Quieta’ because it fucking rules and the members of the band are all such sweethearts. Click on this text for the review!
