There isn't a whole lot to say, but Nick Thompson, founder of Blood Of The Young Records and good friend of ours, passed away earlier this month. The impact he has had on the punk/hardcore/screamo scene will never be forgotten. The upcoming 2x12" 8-band/4-country split will be dedicated to the memory of Nick, as Blood Of The Young was the US label slated for the upcoming release. A new US label will be announced in the near future. On July 9th there will be a tribute to Nick show at First Avenue & 7th Street Entry with the almighty THE KHAYEMBII COMMUNIQUE, who are reuniting to play the show, which is fucking crazy.
