Tomorrow is the release of the obscure Among Light from San Antonio that featured Frank and Matt of Tentacles playing as a guitar/vox + drums two-piece. Were they good? No. They were fucking amazing. And they only released a three-song demo. So I made sure to get some very limited and sick tapes to release the demo EP along with a previously unreleased/unfinished instrumental jam. The 26 tapes release tomorrow Monday September 12th, 2022 at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST. Below is a video I took of them playing at Austin Blood Alliance Fest back in 2015. Heavenly Blue was born of Youth Novel and shares three members, so as the band is still writing their first material they opted to play both Heavenly Blue material in addition to a few old Youth Novel bangers. For this, I could not have been more ecstatic, and showed Maya by nearly passing out when she first told me at the fest. Without a doubt tied for my favourite set of the fest, this all happened of Day 2 of ZBR Fest Mid-West 2022 on June 12th, 2022.
