In Loving Memory is currently on fire. After getting back together for some reunion shows, the members hit it off, remixed/remastered ‘As Years Pass and Feel Like Seconds’, aaaaaaand they wrote a new EP which comes out next month on ZBR tapes (music video on June 30th!). The cassettes for their first full length release this Friday June 23rd from Zegema Beach, and sometime later from Illuminate My Heart Records (they are in the process of moving). Feel free to take a gander at the variants above, we made 150 total. Friday at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST

On June 27th the U.S. store will have a massive distro update, with this Canadian/International store having a minor distro update. CanaDave did another Out Past the Rings, the 162nd, for the short-lived west coast project Valtiel. One tape left. May or may not come with laryngitis.

Who was one of the most talked about bands post-fest? Mouthing. Without a doubt. This shroud of mystery ruined everyone for about 15 minutes. Here’s some jams. Somehow we have a few tapes left. An incredible, self-recorded, solo project from Portland named YUKI (foreverwewillmissyou) came to us with this EP and we were floored. With an obvious ear for melody and discordance, these five semi-lo-fi songs play off the juxtaposition of ugly and beauty. This limited to /20 release were all dubbed from CD to cassette at the ZBR house, a first-ever. Housed in either a pillow box or gold bag with numbered insert. Truly a testament to the love of screamo.

CanaDave recently came across an old box of stickers, patches, and buttons and then spent way too much organizing, taking pictures, and posting said things. Most of them are $1 and there are things from bands such (but not limited to): Ostraca, Tropical Eice Land, R. Josef, Hedge Fund Trader, gif from god, Lume, Pique, Dog Knights, Nulajednanulanula, Lessener, Millions Of Them, and tons more! There’s even a June Paik and Cassus tote bag in there!!! Tomorrow sees the digital and physical release of the APOSTLES OF ERIS and ENNUI split 7” at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST. This is a co-release with Day Zero Collective with them having most of the copies!

CanaDave’s non-screamo label Softseed Music just released some very nice tapes for the mindboggling math-rock EP ‘don’t care - good music’. Three sick songs over three sick variants and there’s also an /1 (bandcamp only) although I did include the only public test dip copy in the Softseed Section of this website! Take a gander at the other variants above and jam it below.

Hope you liked the previous picture for of one of the My Hair Is A Rat’s Nest variants, so here’s another. There are 5 of these test dips in the first ever (?) swirl dipped cassette stain bag. EP releases on Monday!

Out Past the Rings #119 is for the utterly amazing KOMUSŌ self titled cassette EP 'Komusō'. Literally one of the best EPs we’ve ever released. A few copies remain! And they look awesome!
