This debut EP by Denver’s ATHOUSANDANGELSANDSEVEN is a dissonant, ear-shattering, maniacal nightmare in the best possible way. Completely upending the Daves, we jumped on this ship immediately as we haven’t heard something so jarring, so visceral, and so evil since the O and Closet Witch 12”s. Whether it’s the life-thrashing of an opener “77 Years of Immeasurable Pain” or sinister closer “Clipped Wings” (complete) with a killer stop-motion animated music video), you are going to get traumatized. We’ve got a very limited number of cassettes as we plan to have 7” vinyl ready for late spring/summer.
